Give a gift membership to the Eden Project
The Eden Project is based in Cornwall. It's an amazing place - we thoroughly enjoyed our visit there when we were in the South West of England, and thought it was fascinating. The Project is an educational charity, connecting people with each other and the living world, and exploring how we can work towards a better future. Its visitor destination sits in a huge crater, and it's been transformed from a disused clay pit to a site where massive Biomes are home to the largest rainforest in captivity. It really was something to look round. The money raised by the charity supports its learning project and transformational projects. |
The Eden Protect was awarded the Best UK Leisure Attraction in the British Travel Awards for the fourth year in succession, as voted by the general project. Visit and you'll find outdoor gardens, a Rainforest Canopy Walkway, a Mediterranean Biome, a Must See Trail, the Skywire (England's longest zip wire), the Core with lots of interactive exhibits so you can learn all about ecosystems, evolution, climate change and plant resources. There are a range of events throughout the year - in 2016, these include short gardening courses, a botannical painting course, a growing media and potting course, yoga events, concerts and more! |
